Get Started in 60 Seconds
Floweb runs on Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.13 or later. Three steps and you will have your first website running as a focused desktop app.
1. Download
Grab the installer for your system from the download page. A Chinese mirror is also available for users in mainland China.
- Windows — installer for Windows 7+
- macOS — universal disk image for macOS 10.13+
2. Install
Windows: run the installer and launch Floweb from the Start menu.
macOS: open the .dmg, drag Floweb into Applications, and launch it. Confirm the security prompt if macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet.
3. Add Your First WebApp
- Open Floweb and click Add WebApp.
- Paste any URL — for example your email, calendar, project board, or dashboard.
- Floweb fetches the icon and title automatically. Edit them if you want.
- Save. Your new app appears on the home screen.
- Click it to open a floating window.
That is it. You now have a desktop version of that website.
Make It Yours
Once the window is open, try these quick wins:
- Pin it on top so it never gets buried.
- Resize and position it where you actually need it.
- Set transparency if you want to see through it.
- Enable auto-refresh for live data.
Right-click any app card on the home screen to edit its settings later.
