A pile of browser tabs is not a desk. These notes follow the hands: put a site in the current group, pop it out when needed, then accounts, shortcuts, and cloud. Not internals. Step-by-step: Getting started.
Dock, groups, home library
Pin, opacity, edge, lock, refresh
Multi-account, keychain, proxy
Site chords, switcher, boss key
WebDAV, Cloud, buyout split
Inject, scripts, ads, badges
Hibernate, memory, lock
MCP, playbooks
Eight writing planes. The first 15 cover the signature loop and floating DNA. The rest stay in the catalog — listed, not shipped as tutorials yet.
The full direction map is locked in the spec. This batch ships 15 posts. Dates follow when the feature landed in the version file, not the publish day.
A pile of tabs is not a desk
Floweb 2.0 puts sites in a grouped workspace. Click the dock to change groups, the tab bar to open, the canvas loads now. Switching groups does not scatter windows. Free: two live sites. Read more
A window when you need one
Use the site in the workspace. Pop it out for pin, opacity, or edge-hide. The same site is not open in the shell and as a window. Independent windows shipped in 1.0.6. Read more
Groups are desks, not folders
Unlimited groups shipped in 1.3.0. 2.0 makes a group a dock unit: clicking it swaps that group’s tab bar. Do not dump every site on one browser strip. Read more
Pin the chart
Always-on-top exists only on a pop-out window. It has been a product sentence since the early bird: switch to the sheet, the chart stays. Read more
See-through is reference, not an effect
A pop-out can change page opacity. The draft underneath stays; the overlay is a translucent reference. It is not a filter store. Read more
Tuck to the edge, call it back
Edge-hide shipped in 1.3.9 for the sides. 1.8.0 added top and bottom. 1.8.2 keeps a secondary display flush even when it sits left or slightly above. Maximized windows do not tuck. Read more
Lock it, and clicks hit the desktop
1.8.3 lets a transparent window lock click-through as a desktop widget. The tray and icon menu can unlock, pin top, or pin bottom. Locking hides the toolbar so the page fills the window. Read more
Stop hitting refresh on the board
Auto-refresh on independent windows shipped in 1.0.6. Queues, charts, and status boards reload on your interval. It is this window, not a browser-wide F5. Read more
Two logins, one site — no sign-out first
Since 1.3.4 a second login can share a URL. Empty tags share the default store; a filled tag isolates. Free: one account per site. A second distinct tag is Pro. Read more
One shortcut, a set of sites
Since 1.5.0 Pro can bind a global shortcut per site. The same chord opens several at once. The guide groups by key and does not hardcode brand names. Read more
Let idle sites sleep
Since 1.7.0 unused sites hibernate to free memory and wake on click. Timeouts from 5 minutes to 1 hour. Pro sleeps on your timeout, not a hard count. Read more
Cloud copies setup, not cookies
1.5.1 Pro can use WebDAV. 2.0.0 official Cloud is yearly and takes your setup with the account. Site sign-ins are not uploaded. Sign in again on the next computer. Read more
Scripts are not an extension store
JS injection shipped in 1.2.2. The 2.0.0 script library installs official scripts on every tier; importing your own is Pro. Floweb is not a Chrome Web Store. Read more
The assistant stays on this computer
Since 2.0.0 Cursor or Claude Desktop can talk to Floweb on this machine. Tokens do not leave; pages are not uploaded. This is not a chatbot product. Read more
Buyout is not official Cloud
2.0.0 split on-device Pro from official Cloud yearly. Buyout unlocks unlimited live sites, WebDAV, a second account, shortcuts, and keychain fill. Moving setup between computers is yearly. Numbers live on the pricing page. Read more
